Washington’s Cruisers: In 1775, George Washington outfitted seven ships to sail in the waters around Boston to prevent the British from receiving supplies. The colonial ships flew a white flag with a pine tree, which represented freedom. These ships were the first Navy of the United States. "An Appeal To Heaven" is spelled out at the top of the flag. This print is 2D and is a single piece with a drop shadow around the stamp.
Each stamp print is created with archival inks and museum-quality fine art paper for a high quality and long-lasting look. The print is created with actual physical stamps that have been scanned at high resolution with any blemishes carefully removed. The background color of each stamp is carefully selected to create a beautiful wall display.
