Details
The release of this baseball centennial stamp coincided the opening of The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, the (sometimes disputed) birthplace of baseball. While the game had been played for years before the 1839, Abner Doubleday is credited with creating much of the rules of baseball, which were cemented in 1839. Add a piece of history to your home or office with this vintage stamp art print. Please note, the print is a single 2D piece, with a natural drop shadow from the scanning process.
Each stamp print is created with archival inks and museum-quality fine art paper for a high quality and long-lasting look. The print is created with actual physical stamps that have been scanned at high resolution with any blemishes carefully removed.
